Chamsa Diamond Painting
The art project in the October supply box was one that I don’t think anyone expected. Students were provided various diamond dot studs, a blank diamond painting canvas and a chamsa template.
What they came up with was nothing short of amazing!

Bitmoji FUN!
Bitmojis are everywhere in 2020 and of course we wanted to make sure we kept up with the trend! In October, we sent home bitmoji versions of all the teachers, Bar and Michelle with a fun (and optional) BINGO game! We have loved getting all the pictures and can’t wait to see more!
We loved seeing Bar rock out with Hebrew letters made from nature,
with Shabbat candles before lighting,
and checking out the mezuzzah!
Bar, Michelle and Morah Lili loved joining in for Havdalah.
And you never know where Michelle will turn up next!
Havdalah Hangout
USYers got together to have havdalah, work on tying blankets to donate and enjoying s’mores at our Chapter President’s backyard. It was a nice opportunity to see each other at a distance and catch up!
October Calendar
Check out the October calendar and print a copy below! You will also receive a copy in your October Supply box- I hope to see you at some of these fun events!
Shehecheyanu
I love seeing what the students are working on and this spelling of Shehecheyanu with LEGO is awesome! I wonder which word was harder to make? The Hebrew or the transliteration version? Hmm…
